A game about relativistic speeds, adjacency bonuses, and clicking on stuff
Made for Mini Jam 160: Light, with Limitation: "Speed Is Key"
Introduction:
You are the engineer of a Sparkship, a ship that uses the power of Clicking to reach Light Speed! Click to generate energy and collect space Scrap, spend Scrap to upgrade your ship by building new Tiles, go faster to unlock new tiles to build... but watch out for the relativistic effects of approaching light speed! Features a creative building system, strategic adjacency-bonus gameplay, resource generation and management, automation, and best of all, a little animated robot pilot guy.
Instructions:
- Click on blue-highlighted tiles on your ship to activate them
- Mass Scoops will collect scrap to purchase new tiles, Spark Generators will generate power, and Thrusters will turn that power into getting you closer to the speed of light!
- Use the toolbar on the left to learn about different tiles and add them to your ship
- Go faster to unlock new tiles to build
- (Hint: Don't delete the starting ship layout until you've unlocked those tiles for purchase!)
